Our Founder

Blessed Justin Russolillo

Blessed Justin Russolillo was born on 18th January 1891 and baptized Italy. After completing grammar school in his hometown, he entered the seminary of Pozzuoli; on 20th September 1913 Fr. Justin was ordained a priest. He started two congregations: Vocationist Fathers and Sisters. Fr. Justin completed his earthly August 1955. Pope John Paul IInd officially declared that Fr. Justin had practiced the Christian virtues in a heroic manner and therefore he was being raised to the dignity of venerable.Fr. Justin was raised to the honour of Blessed by Pope Benedict XVI in year Pope Francis signed a decree for the declaration Blessed Justin Maria Russolillo.

Our History

The Society of the Divine Vocations sisters, more commonly known as The Vocationist Sisters is a congregation of Catholic Sisters which was founded by Blessed Fr. Justin Russolillo in the year of 1921.Our congregation functioning in Kerala in 1997 .The main activities of the Society of Divine Vocations include apostolate in the Parishes, Schools and Missions. Through these fields of work our aim is identifying and guiding young people who show the signs of Divine call to consecrate life.

Mission

Considering the fact that in education we share the responsibility of the nation, we make special efforts to co-ordinate our educational activities with the aims and goals of the nation, so that our students may grow up as responsible citizens fully involved in the task of nation-building.

  • To help students to realize and appreciate the Cultural Heritage of our country and to respect the emotional feeling of other.
  • To make children intellectually and spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated physically healthy and socially acceptable.
  • The policy of education in Guardian Angels English Medium School derives from the Motto of our founder Blessed Fr. Justin i.e., the Glory, Love and Will of God in the whole world.
